Job summary

Nibav Lifts in Chennai/Bangalore is seeking an Assistant Service Manager with strong lift/elevator industry experience to lead service teams, oversee maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities, and ensure safe operation of traction, hydraulic, and ARD systems. You will coordinate technicians, engage with customers, and drive service excellence across locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in the lift/elevator sector with strong technical and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with traction, hydraulic drives and safety systems.
• Ability to manage technicians and coordinate service activities.

ASSISTANT SERVICE MANAGER

Role: Assistant Service Manager

Required Experience:
Candidates must have experience in the Lift / Elevator Industry with strong technical and troubleshooting knowledge.

Technical Requirements:

• Elevator Types: Traction (Mandatory) / Hydraulic / Vacuum
• Experience in Service & Maintenance (S&M)
• DBG (Distance Between Guides), Guide Alignment, Running Clearance, MCB
• Commissioning: Lift Wiring, Programming, VVVF/V3F Drive, Safety Checks
• Strong Troubleshooting & Breakdown Maintenance knowledge
• Traction: Rope/Belt, Motor, Roping 1:1 / 2:1 / 4:1
• Knowledge of VVVF/V3F Drive, MCB, IGBT, ELCB & DBR
• Hydraulic: Piston, Motor/Pump and Hydraulic system knowledge
• ARD: Automatic Rescue Device and battery system knowledge
• Ability to handle technicians, customers and service activities
