Job summary

ETG World in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Assistant Manager to lead Record To Report activities, manage month-end closings, and ensure timely financial reporting.

You will supervise a team of 6–8 staff, monitor accruals and variances, collaborate with the MIS team, and provide audit support in line with DOAs, contracts and SOPs.

Immediate joiners preferred; strong English communication and ERP familiarity are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters in Commerce or related field.
• 6+ years in Record to Report and Month End Closing/Reporting roles.
• Experience leading a team of 6–8 people.
• Excellent communication with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in English; strong interpersonal skills.
• ERP systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the TAT for Record to Report responsibilities is met.
• Maintain daily log for data processed, pending items and open queries.
• Assist in month-end closing and reporting activities.
• Monitor accruals and aging of accruals periodically.
• Prepare and submit monthly closing reports and variance analysis.
• Oversee vendor and customer reconciliations, resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct monthly reviews of indirect and prepaid expenses for accuracy and budget alignment.
• Collaborate with Finance Manager and MIS team for monthly deliverables.
• Support external audit during the year and year-end.
• Perform deliverables per DOAs, contracts and SOPs.
• Provide audit support and financial schedules.

Job Description

Title: Assistant Manager Record To Report.

Reports to: Finance Manager

Department: Accounting and Finance

Position Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the TAT (Turnaround time) of Record to Report functional responsibilities are complied.

2. Maintain a daily log for data processed, pending and open queries.

3. Assist in Month end closing and Reporting activities.

4. Monitor and track Accruals and Aging of Accruals on a periodic basis.

5. Prepare and submit timely reports related to Monthly Closing, Variance analysis ,audit support

6. Overview the vendor and customer reconciliation process and resolve any discrepancies.

7. Conduct monthly reviews of indirect expenses and prepaid expenses to ensure accuracy and budget compliance.

8. Work closely with finance manager and MIS team for monthly reporting deliverables.

9. Aid other accounting staff in the annual external audit review process.

10. Perform all deliverables as per established DOAs, Contracts and relevant guidelines / SOPs.

Position Requirements:

1. B. Com, M. Com, MBA, Semi qualified CA finance, or a related field.

2. Minimum experience of 6+ years in Record to Report, Month End Closing Reporting management roles, preferably in a similar industry.

3. Have experience in handling team of at least 6-8 people.

4. Excellent communication skills with ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

5. Proficiency in English language.

6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

7. Previous experience in ERP systems is an asset.
