Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Engineer in planning, executing, and monitoring civil construction activities.
• Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure progress as per the project schedule.
• Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and site workers.
• Assist in checking construction materials and ensuring proper utilisation at site.
• Read and understand civil engineering drawings and basic construction plans.
• Maintain daily site progress reports, measurements, and project documentation.
• Support quality inspections and ensure compliance with safety procedures at the construction site.
• Report site progress, technical issues, and delays to the Project Engineer.
• Travel to different project locations across Chennai as required.
