Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a seasoned Project Controller to support commercial management and cost control on major infrastructure projects. You will monitor budgets, prepare change notes, invoices, and weekly/monthly progress reports, and help with dashboards using Power BI.

You will collaborate with internal clients, ensure data integrity, and contribute to process automation and digital delivery practices, while aligning with our flexible working approach and global project delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in project control and commercial management.
• Experience in infrastructure design consultancy sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand the project commercials and cost management of the project including,
• Monitor the actual cost/hours against budget, earned value analysis
• Preparation of agreements, change control notes, invoices
• Follow up with internal clients on approval of change control notes, invoices etc.
• Preparing weekly/monthly progress reports
• Supporting Project Manager on Business Management System activities
• Understanding dashboards and preparing new dashboards using Power BI with the digital team
• Supporting Project Manager in their daily tasks as required
• Storing project data properly and using standard templates across similar projects
• Proactive involvement in improving processes through automation and digital delivery practices.

About the Business Unit

Global Delivery Services Centre (GDSC) is a high-impact business unit within Mott MacDonald, dedicated to enhancing project delivery across our global operations.

• Proactive involving in improving the processes through automation and use of digital delivery practices.

Candidate Specification:

• BE/ BTech or B.Com / M.Com Degree in Accounting/Finance. Any additional degree in Finance would be an added advantage.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in project control and commercial management of Infrastructure projects within the design consultancy sector.
• Having excellent written and verbal communication skills.
