Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran is seeking an Assistant Professor in the Pharmacy Department with a focus on Pharmacognosy. The candidate will teach B.Pharm and M.Pharm, prepare curricula and labs, and guide students during hospital postings.

The role includes publishing research in indexed journals and applying for research grants (DST, ICMR, AICTE). Academic administration duties such as mentoring, NAAC/NBA/PCI documentation, and organizing seminars are also expected.

Qualifications

• B.Pharma degree is required or equivalent qualification.
• M.Pharm in Pharmacognosy is required or strongly preferred.
• Ph.D. is preferred for higher research-related responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Teach B.Pharm and M.Pharm courses and lectures.
• Prepare lesson plans, lab manuals, and question papers; conduct practicals and guide students during hospital postings.
• Plan and publish research papers in Scopus/PubMed indexed journals.
• Apply for research grants from DST, ICMR, AICTE.
• Oversee academic administration including student mentoring, attendance, internal assessments, NAAC, NBA, PCI documentation; organize seminars, conferences, guest lectures, and clinical visits.
