Job summary

NetSysCon Consulting in India is seeking an AM Plant Operations for a leading bitumen manufacturer. You will oversee daily production planning to achieve 98% efficiency, drive supply chain KPIs, and coordinate maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations.

You will manage 1–2 direct reports, enforce HSEQ standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize Opex while leveraging SAP for all core activities.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with relevant chemical/petrochemical experience.
• 5–7 years in core chemical, petrochemical or bitumen sector.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production planning to hit 98% efficiency target.
• Deliver Supply Chain KPIs aligned with business plan.
• Ensure timely maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Coordinate with Site SCM to maintain 90% OTIF target.
• Maintain 99% plant efficiency with quality focus.
• Ensure HSEQ compliance and reporting of unsafe conditions.
• Ensure 95% raw material availability for operations.
• Adhere to administrative controls and security policies.
• Renew licenses and ensure IMS/regulatory compliance.
• Utilize SAP for all relevant operations.
• Optimize Opex within targeted production envelope.
• Conduct RM/PM mass balancing; report to senior management.
• Manage 1–2 direct reports and indirect staff.

Job description

We are seeking an AM Plant Operations for a Leading Bitumen Manufacturer.

Job Profile:

• Oversee daily production planning to achieve a performance efficiency target of 98%.
• Deliver Supply Chain KPIs in line with the business plan and HSEQ performance targets.
• Ensure timely maintenance and calibration of all applicable equipment as per the approved schedule.
• Coordinate with the Site SCM team to ensure uninterrupted material supply and achieve the OTIF target of 90%.
• Ensure quality product manufacturing while maintaining an efficiency target of 99%.
• Implement plant-level HSEQ requirements, including reporting and compliance related to unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, NMD, HiPO, and other relevant observations.
• Ensure availability of raw materials for plant operations without operational disruption, targeting 95% availability.
• Ensure adherence to all administrative controls, security policies, and unit-level practices.
• Ensure timely renewal of licenses and compliance with IMS and regulatory requirements.
• Use SAP effectively for all relevant operational activities.
• Optimize Opex within the maximum target for targeted production.
• Conduct RM/PM mass balancing on a fortnightly and monthly basis and report to senior management with appropriate justification, targeting 100% accuracy.
• Manage 1–2 direct reportees along with indirect reportees.

AM Plant Operations Requirements:

• Engineering degree with a minimum of 5–7 years of experience in the core chemical, petrochemical, or bitumen industry.
• Strong knowledge of hazardous waste management, emergency preparedness, and response planning.
• Must have good experience in production planning and plant operations.
• Sound knowledge of plant equipment and machinery, SAP systems, and computer applications. SAP is a must
• Excellent people management, supervision, and presentation skills.
• Strong communication skills, technical competence, and a hands‑on approach to manufacturing processes.
