Job summary

Tenneco India in Rajasthan seeks a finance business partner for the plant leadership team to drive cost efficiency, controls and profitability. You will manage monthly closing, plant financials, COGS, overhead reviews, fixed assets capitalization and budgeting, with a focus on governance and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to handle high volumes of transactions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SAP in a manufacturing context.
• Good understanding of manufacturing finance and plant operations.
• High attention to detail and strong control orientation.
• Exposure to standard costing and SAP variances is a plus.
• Ability to manage high transaction volumes with accuracy.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, HR and Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Monthly closing and preparation of plant financials including COGS.
• Review overheads, reconciliations and uploads.
• Ownership of the plant trial balance.
• Lead internal and statutory audits and strengthen controls.
• Review cost-saving initiatives and budget variances.
• Annual budget planning, monthly forecasts and asset capitalization.
• Analyze overhead absorption and CWIP status.

Monthly closing, Preparation of Plant financials, COGS. Control & timely review the manufacturing overheads, One stream reconciliations & upload.

Ownership of the plant trial balance.

Independently handling the Internal & Statutory audits. Ensure appropriate controls are implemented across the processes. Governance & Compliance Strengthening

Review & validation of cost saving initiatives at plant.

Annual budget preparation & variance analysis, Monthly forecast & analysis.

Fixed assets budgeting, allocation, timely capitalization. Review of CWIP for timely closure.

Costing support. Analyze over/under absorption of overheads.

• Strong knowledge of SAP.
