GoTrailo is seeking an Assistant Manager – Accounts & Taxation to oversee day-to-day accounting and tax compliance. The role requires strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation, with hands-on experience in Tally and MS Excel.

The ideal candidate will manage monthly closures, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support audits while adhering to strict deadlines in an onsite Bengaluru setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in core accounting and Indian taxation.
• Graduate or Post-Graduate in Commerce; CA Intermediate (PCC/IPCC) preferred.
• Expertise in GST returns, TDS calculation/filing, and tax portal navigation.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day accounting entries, bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and accounts payable/receivable in Tally.
• Calculate, file, and reconcile monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation).
• Compute, deposit, and file TDS/TCS returns within regulatory timelines.
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial statement preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit support.
• Support internal and statutory audits with required schedules and audit trails.

You will play a key role in maintaining robust financial discipline and ensuring full adherence to GST and TDS regulations.

Responsibilities

Key ResponsibilitiesCore Accounting & Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting entries, bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and accounts payable/receivable in Tally. Statutory Compliance (GST & TDS): Calculate, file, and reconcile monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation). Compute, deposit, and file TDS/TCS returns within regulatory timelines. Financial Reporting: Assist in month-end and year-end financial statement preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit support. Audit & Documentation: Support internal and statutory audits by preparing required schedules and maintaining proper audit trails. Requirements & Qualifications Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on experience in core accounting and Indian taxation. Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate in Commerce. CA Intermediate (PCC/IPCC) qualified/appeared is strongly preferred. Software Skills: Expertise in Tally Prime / Tally.ERP 9 and proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). Taxation Expertise: Mandatory practical knowledge of GST returns, TDS calculation/filing, and tax portal navigation. Attributes: Strong analytical mindset, sharp attention to detail, and ability to manage strict deadlines.
