Regional Training Manager
Build and execute the regional/cluster training plan for bank branches, RMs, service staff, and partner leadership cadences. Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) using performance data (activation, APE, conversion, cross-sell, persistency) and business inputs. Align the training calendar to product priorities, strategic campaigns, and compliance requirements.
Develop and localize banca-specific content: life insurance product suites, sales process within bank context, objection handling, customer suitability/needs analysis, and partner SOPs. Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Partner L&D to ensure accuracy and audit readiness. Leverage digital learning tools (LMS, e-modules, microlearning, quizzes) to support blended learning.
Conduct high-impact classroom, huddle, and virtual sessions across branches; drive new-hire onboarding for specified bank staff. Facilitate joint field coaching (where applicable), role-plays, and call-shadowing to reinforce skill adoption. Champion blended learning and spaced practice to sustain capability.
Ensure programs meet IRDAI guidelines for Corporate Agent/Specified Persons (SP) training and certification; maintain records and audit readiness. Drive adherence to suitability, documentation, conduct norms, and partner SOPs.
Track effectiveness via assessments, feedback, on-the-job checks, and business KPIs. Maintain MIS dashboards and weekly/monthly reporting for stakeholders; propose corrective actions based on data.
Partner with bank cluster heads, branch managers, RMs, and internal Sales leaders to identify skill gaps and prioritize interventions. Coordinate with external vendors (if engaged) for specialized modules; ensure delivery quality and compliance.
Good Knowledge of MS Office
Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate; MBA preferred.
Experience: 3 6 years in Training within Life Insurance/BFSI; 1 3 years in Bancassurance preferred. Exposure to both classroom and digital learning methodologies.
