Job summary

VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) invites experienced professionals for an Oracle & PL/SQL Developer role within our BI team in Pune. You will build and maintain the BI application layer, design data structures, and develop ETL processes to feed data warehouses.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet evolving business requirements and ensure timely delivery of solutions. The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of BI/DW experience, strong PL/SQL, and familiarity with Oracle ODI,

About this role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle & PL/SQL Developer to join our Business Intelligence team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining the BI Application Layer, which serves as the semantic layer and direct interface for BI customers. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement backend solutions, including data structures, data marts, and ETL processes, ensuring smooth data transfer into operational services. This position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to manage evolving business requirements in an agile environment.

Who you are

• Strong communication skills to interact with non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Hands-on experience with large datasets.
• Desired: Oracle DB configuration or Teradata DBA activities.
• Oracle ODI programming.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux command line and basic shell scripting.
• Knowledge of SAS scripting and Microsoft Excel (including VBA/Macro).
• Exposure to telecommunication industry.
