About this Role

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer with strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and Unix to design, develop, and maintain the BI Application Layer. This role involves backend development, including creating data structures, data marts, and ETL processes, ensuring seamless data transfer into operational services. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality BI solutions and support agile environments for experimental and pre-operational phases.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain BI Application Layer, including semantic layers and interfaces for BI customers.
• Design and implement data structures, data marts, and ETL processes from source systems to the Data Warehouse.
• Support BI Laboratory environments for trials, tests, and agile experimentation.
• Participate in Demand Fulfilment Process (DeFuP) by contributing to projects and requests.
• Assist in BI Service Operation Process (BISOP) and Service Support Process (SeSuP) for issue resolution and problem analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage customer requirements effectively.

Who you are

• 37 years of experience in BI and Data Warehouse development.
• Advanced PL/SQL scripting skills with strong SQL expertise.
• Excellent data interpretation and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of data manipulation and analysis techniques within BI and EDW landscapes.
• Familiarity with large IT development projects and methodologies.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and share ideas effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Hands-on experience with large datasets.

Desired Skills

• Oracle DB configuration and/or DBA activities.
• Oracle ODI programming.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VBA/Macros).
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux command line and basic shell scripting.
• Basic SAS scripting knowledge.
• Exposure to telecommunication domain and intercultural experience with European teams.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
