Job summary

Bosch Group in India seeks a seasoned Project Manager for IC engine component programs based in Bengaluru. You will plan, execute and lead deliverables across design, testing and program management with a focus on quality, cost and timeliness.

Responsibilities include risk management, BES methodology, budget adherence, and cross-functional coordination with IDN and platform teams to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.
• 4-5 years of minimum experience in Project management related to IC engine components.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and plan component level project costs covering design, testing and PM coordination.
• Identify and manage project risks and develop contingency plans.
• Review project progress, identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
• Lead and drive Engineering Product Quality & Preventive initiatives (BES).
• Coordinate and plan topics for IDN and platform window meetings with lead departments.
• Lead project management processes to meet customer specifications within budget and timeline.

The purpose of this position is to plan, execute and lead deliverables of customer project in component engineering to meet identified requirements and deliver necessary work packages within agreed parameters of quality, cost and timeline

Project Management:

• Estimate and plan component level projects cost covering design,testing and project management co ordination

BES-PE:

• Lead and drive Engineering Product Quality & Preventive.
• Quality management processes by using Bosch Engineering.
• System (BES) methods and tools within the function to enable engineering excellence.

IDN Coordination:

• Coordinate and plan topics for IDN and platform window meetings with lead departments

Budget Planning

• Lead and drive project management processes adhering to regulations and compliance to fulfill customer project specifications with the agreed budget and timeline

Competence Development

• Obtain competencies in the functional area based on present and future trends as per the business requirements.
• Supervise innovation management processes to generate new ideas and to solve current product / customer concerns.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical,Electrical, Industrial and Automotive)

• PMP certification is an added advantage

4-5 years of minimum experience in Project management related to IC engine components
