Job summary

Parle Mumbai, Maharashtra invites an Assistant Manager – R&D to join its food technology team. You will apply knowledge of food science, nutrition, chemistry and microbiology to develop ingredient lists and nutrition charts for new products.

You will revise existing products, create country-specific nutrition details for USA/UK/Canada/GCC, and provide final artwork approvals. The role requires 3–4 years of experience and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Life Science, Food Science, or Nutrition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Life Science, Food Science, Food Technology or Nutrition Science.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of FSSAI, Codex, US FDA, EU and other global food regulations.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Food Science / Nutrition Science / Chemistry / Microbiology.
• Knowledge of FSSAI & FSSAI Act, global food regulations such as CODEX, USFDA, EU, FSANZ, GSO, etc.
• Knowledge of Food Safety Management System / Vegan / organic, etc.
• Creating Ingredient List & Nutrition for New Product.
• Creating Ingredient List & Nutrition chart for existing product for recipe revision.
• Create Country wise (USA/UK/Canada/GCC etc.) Ingredient list & Nutrition chart for products.
• Provide Approval on Final Artwork.
