Job summary

Birla Estates is seeking a Site Quality professional to lead planning, budgeting and quality management for multiple projects, ensuring adherence to Birla standards and regulatory requirements.

You will conduct weekly on-site quality walks, issue NC reports, drive CAPA actions, inspect materials, and coordinate with PMC/contractors to ensure timely handovers.

The role focuses on continuous improvement of the QMS and regular training to raise quality awareness across the site.

Responsibilities

• Planning & Budgeting - Keep abreast with industry related best practices, market trends etc with respect to quality standards. Prepare site related budget for quality and submit to Regional Head for finalization and approval.
• Quality Control - Initiate kick-off meetings and orient contractors on project quality expectations. Prepare the project quality plan and method statements for assigned projects, and seek necessary approvals. Inspect incoming materials for quality compliance, identify deviations, and inform relevant stakeholders to coordinate for timely replacements; arrange third-party inspections as needed. Conduct weekly quality walk-throughs on-site to ensure all project activities comply with company standards and regulatory requirements. Issue non-conformance (NC) reports to contractors for any deviations, conduct root cause analysis, and submit CAPA actions for approval. Perform site inspections during handover to verify unit readiness; collaborate with stakeholders to address and correct deviations. Principal Accountabilities

Adhere to project budgets and ensure all quality-related activities are conducted within the allocated resources. Prepare site related quality management plans and submit for review and approval.
• Quality Control - Initiate kick-off meetings and orient contractors on project quality expectations. Prepare the project quality plan and method statements for assigned projects, and seek necessary approvals. Inspect incoming materials for quality compliance, identify deviations, and inform relevant stakeholders to coordinate for timely replacements; arrange third-party inspections as needed. • Quality Assurance - Implement all quality related activities in adherence to the Birla Quality Manual and other relevant standards for the assigned site. Participate in both internal and external audits; ensure site readiness and furnish required documentation during audits. Collaborate with the project head to ensure closure of all site audit points within specified timelines and implement corrective actions as needed. Conduct regular quality training sessions at site to raise quality awareness; participate in external training programs as required.
• Continuous Improvements - Provide inputs for improvements in the QMS. Identify opportunities for improvement basis best practices, seek sign off and ensure effective implementation.
