Job summary

Uflex is seeking a QA/QC specialist to manage customer complaints and drive quality across adhesives, inks and related products. You will investigate issues using RCA, ensure ISO 9001/14001/45001 compliance, and close CAPA actions while maintaining batch release and process controls.

The role requires strong analytical, reporting and cross-functional coordination skills, with the ability to train QA/QC teams and support continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC within adhesives, inks or related chemical processes.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, CAPA and audits.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve complaints related to adhesives, inks and related products using RCA
• Maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance, audit readiness, documentation and CAPA closure
• Control QA processes for adhesives and inks including emulsion and esterification reactions, batch parameters, in-process checks and finished product testing
• Analyze quality trends, prepare reports, support audits and train QA/QC team members on testing, IMS and process controls
• Coordinate with Production, R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, customers and auditors for timely quality issue resolution

Role & responsibilities

Customer Complaint Handling

• Investigate and resolve complaints related to adhesives, printing inks and related products through RCA and CAPA.

IMS & Audit Compliance:

• Maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance, audit readiness, documentation and CAPA closure.

Process Quality Control:

• Control QA processes for adhesives and inks, including emulsion reaction, esterification reaction, batch parameters, in-process checks and finished product testing.

Analysis, Reporting & Team Support:

• Analyze quality trends, prepare reports, support audits and train QA/QC team members on testing, IMS and process controls.

Cross-functional Coordination:

Coordinate with Production, R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, customers and auditors for timely quality issue resolution.

Preferred candidate profile

• Good knowledge of PU adhesives, water-based adhesives and printing inks, including raw material testing, in-process checks, finished product testing and batch release.


• Understanding of emulsion reaction, esterification reaction, viscosity/solid content control, bond/print performance and process troubleshooting.


• Working knowledge of IMS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, audits, CAPA, document control and process standardization.


• Skilled in RCA tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone and 8D for complaint and deviation handling.


• Strong analytical, reporting, communication and cross-functional coordination skills.


• Ability to train QA/QC teams and drive quality, safety and continuous improvement practices.


• Proficient in MS Office, QMS documentation and quality data management.
