Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a field technician to support installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of building systems at client sites in India. The role involves reviewing layouts, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met through hands-on execution.

The position requires travel to site locations, strong problem-solving, and effective communication to keep projects on schedule and within scope.

Qualifications

• Experience in field execution with installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of system integration and field operations.
• Ability to work in field environments and handle site challenges.

Responsibilities

• Perform field execution activities including installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems under supervision.
• Support intermediate-level design activities, including reviewing system layouts, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Participate in project delivery by assisting in system integration, configuration, and optimization activities.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols during execution.
• Provide technical support in resolving onsite issues and ensuring smooth system functionality.
• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities as part of O&M support.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders for effective project execution.
• Maintain proper documentation of site activities, reports, and system changes.
