Job summary

slice is seeking an Assistant Manager - Operations & Strategy to streamline backend processes and support strategic business initiatives. You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure timely workflows, and provide data-driven insights for growth.

The role emphasizes cross-functional coordination, process documentation, and adherence to policies. You will partner with Operations, Product, Finance, HR, and other teams to drive efficiency and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in business/engineering/commerce or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in Operations, Business Strategy, Program Management, or Process Excellence.
• Experience in managing backend operations and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day backend operational activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of operational workflows.
• Monitor operational KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and process guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and compliance requirements.
• Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.
• Drive process optimization initiatives to improve productivity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with technology and product teams to automate manual processes.
• Implement best practices and operational controls to enhance efficiency.
• Support leadership in developing and executing strategic initiatives.
• Conduct business analysis and prepare reports, dashboards, and performance reviews.
• Monitor key business metrics and provide actionable recommendations.
• Assist in annual planning, forecasting, and goal-setting exercises.
• Track strategic projects and ensure timely execution.
• Analyze operational and business performance data.
• Create MIS reports and dashboards for management review.
• Present insights and recommendations to leadership teams.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Operations, Product, Finance, HR, and Business teams.
• Act as a central point of contact for operational escalations and project coordination.
• Drive alignment across teams to ensure successful execution of business objectives.
