Job summary

Eternity Quests is seeking an experienced MRB Engineer to support the C295 Final Assembly Line. You will resolve non-conformances, perform MRB evaluations, and design repairs to ensure airworthiness. You will align with FAA/EASA standards and AS9100 while coordinating with shop floor, quality, production, and design teams.

The role requires 5–10 years in Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering - MRB and hands-on CATIA V5 / 3D CAD experience for repair geometries.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering - MRB Engineering.
• Experience with MRB dispositions (Use-As-Is / Repair / Scrap) in aerospace context.
• Ability to design and substantiate metallic and composite repairs.

Responsibilities

• Analyse non-conformances and raise MRB dispositions.
• Perform MRB evaluations for structural, installation, and process deviations.
• Design and substantiate repairs to restore strength and airworthiness.
• Carry out static and fatigue analysis to validate repair schemes.
• Serve as liaison between shop floor, quality, production and design for technical issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with FAA/EASA/Military airworthiness and AS9100 standards.
• Provide rapid production support to prevent line stoppages.
• Interpret AMM, SRM, and CMM requirements for rectification.
• Review designs using CATIA V5 / 3D CAD to define repair geometries.
• Lead or support RCCA activities for recurring defects.
• Maintain engineering documentation and traceability.

Job description

Role Purpose

To provide end-to-end engineering support to theC295 Final Assembly Line, ensuring timely resolution of manufacturing non-conformances through MRB dispositions, structural repair design, and liaison engineering while maintaining full compliance with airworthiness and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse manufacturing and assembly non-conformances and raise engineering dispositions (Use-As-Is / Repair / Scrap) in line with approved design and certification requirements.
• Perform MRB evaluations for structural, installation, and process deviations encountered during Final Assembly.
• Design and substantiate metallic and composite structural repairs to restore strength, fatigue life, and airworthiness.
• Carry out static and fatigue stress analysis (manual and/or FEA) to validate repair schemes and concessions with adequate Margins of Safety.
• Act as the primary liaison engineer between shop floor, quality, production, and design organisations for real-time technical issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with FAA / EASA / Military airworthiness requirements and AS9100 quality standards.
• Provide rapid production support to prevent line stoppages and support critical build milestones.
• Interpret and apply AMM, SRM, and CMM requirements for aircraft structural rectification.
• Review and interpret designs using CATIA V5 / 3D CAD tools and define repair geometries.
• Apply expertise in aerospace materials, fasteners, corrosion protection, and composite layup techniques.
• Lead or support Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) activities for recurring manufacturing defects.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation, traceability, and configuration control.
