Job summary

Adani Group is seeking an engineer to measure and improve automated module line stability and to drive equipment uptime across the production floor. The role focuses on tracking capability initiatives, optimizing inventory and asset availability, and supporting sustainability goals through the Adani Business Excellence Model.

You will work with the Production Team and Head - Module Maintenance to ensure continuous improvement and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Min 2–5 years of experience in operating and maintaining automated systems.
• Experience with PLCs, drives, VFDs and robotics.
• BE/B.Tech in a relevant engineering stream.
• Understanding of automation in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Measure improvements in automated module line to enhance stability and reduce disruptions.
• Track capability enhancement initiatives to develop a skilled workforce and improve engagement.
• Assess availability and uptime of production equipment; identify downtime factors.
• Monitor milestones under the Adani Business Excellence Model to drive continuous improvement.

Job description

• Measure improvements in SQPDCME projects to enhance the stability of the module line. Ensure completed projects contribute to minimizing operational disruptions.

Team Building:

• Track the number of capability enhancement initiatives to develop a skilled workforce. Focus on fostering teamwork and improving engagement among team members.
• Assess the percentage of effective SAP-PM utilization in spare management. Optimize inventory levels to enhance operational efficiency and reduce lead times.

Availability of Equipment for Production:

• Measure the percentage availability of equipment at the MSEL Module line. Identify factors affecting downtime to ensure consistent production capability.

Organization Development & Sustainability:

• Monitor milestones achieved in adherence to the Adani Business Excellence Model. Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across all functions.
