The Corporate Institute in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead statutory reporting for insurance and reinsurance operations. The role requires strong knowledge of IGAAP, Ind AS and IFRS, with close coordination of auditors and regulators.

You will manage financial closing cycles, ensure IRDAI/regulatory compliance, and drive SAP-FICO based accounting and reporting processes while contributing to financial analysis and process improvements.

Qualificações

• CA with 6–8 years post-qualification experience
• Hands-on IGAAP, Ind AS and IFRS reporting experience
• Insurance/Reinsurance industry experience preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP FI/CO

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review financial statements per IGAAP, Ind AS and IFRS
• Support statutory and regulatory reporting for reinsurance business
• Handle accounting and reporting for insurance contracts and reinsurance arrangements
• Coordinate with statutory, internal, and regulatory auditors
• Ensure compliance with IRDAI and other regulations
• Perform monthly, quarterly, annual financial closing
• SAP-based accounting and reporting activities
• Assist in financial analysis, reconciliations, and process improvements

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with IGAAP, Ind AS and IFRS
• Support statutory and regulatory reporting for reinsurance business
• Handling accounting and reporting requirements specific to insurance contracts and reinsurance arrangements
• Coordination with auditors (statutory, internal, and regulatory)
• Ensuring compliance with IRDAI and other applicable regulatory requirements
• Financial closing activities (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• SAP-based accounting and reporting activities
• Support in financial analysis, reconciliations, and process improvements

Required Skills & Experience:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6 – 8 years of post-qualification experience
• Strong hands-on experience in IGAAP, Ind AS and IFRS reporting
• Prior experience in Insurance / Reinsurance industry is highly preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP (FICO module preferred)
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance
