Job summary

K Raheja Corp in Mumbai (BKC) is seeking an Assistant Manager – Legal (Treasury & Finance) with 4–6 years of experience in Banking & Finance laws to manage loan documentation and financing agreements.

You will review and finalize loan and security documents, support fund-raising and treasury activities, liaise with banks and regulators, and collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Accounts and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• LLB or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in Banking & Finance laws.
• Exposure to treasury legal support, fund-raising, borrowings and various finance transactions.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and finalize loan agreements, security documents, debenture documents and financing contracts.
• Provide legal support for fund-raising transactions, borrowings and treasury activities.
• Manage documentation milestones, drawdowns and disbursements.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with financing agreements and lender requirements.
• Support refinancing, restructuring, amendments and waivers.
• Liaise with banks, financial institutions, lenders, trustees and regulators.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Accounts, Compliance and Secretarial teams.

Qualification

• LLB or equivalent from a recognized institution

Experience

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Banking & Finance laws
• Exposure to treasury legal support, fund raising, corporate borrowings, NBFC financing, infrastructure/project/real estate finance, structured finance, debentures and ECB transactions

Key Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and finalize loan agreements, security documents, debenture documents, guarantees and financing contracts
• Provide legal support for fund-raising transactions, borrowings and treasury activities
• Manage documentation, conditions precedent/subsequent, drawdowns and disbursements
• Ensure ongoing compliance with financing agreements and lender requirements
• Support refinancing, restructuring, amendments, waivers and release of securities
• Maintain financing documentation records and support audits
• Identify legal and compliance risks and provide practical solutions
• Liaise with banks, financial institutions, lenders, trustees, external counsel and regulatory authorities
• Work closely with Treasury, Finance, Accounts, Compliance and Secretarial teams
