WNS, part of Capgemini, is seeking a professional for Reconciliation Governance and Oversight within Controllership in India. The role focuses on independent reviews of bank reconciliations, ensuring policy adherence, and driving timely remediation of reconciliation issues.

The ideal candidate will have a B. Com/PGDM/MBA with 5+ years (or associate degree with 7+ years) in accounting or finance, and strong skills in analysis, modeling, querying, and visualization tools.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience OR Associate's degree and a minimum of 7 years' experience in accounting, auditing, operations or financial institutions
• Comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles in multiple disciplines including finance and accounting
• Proficiency in accounting / finance analysis, modeling, querying and visualization tools
• Education and Experience Preferred: Advanced degree or professional certification (i.e. CPA, CFA, etc.)

Responsabilidades

• Perform independent reviews of bank reconciliations to assess compliance with the Bank's Reconciliation Policy, accounting standards, and control requirements.
• Evaluate the quality, completeness, and timeliness of reconciliations, including supporting documentation, aging of reconciling items, and appropriateness of explanations and resolutions.
• Identify policy exceptions, control deficiencies, and reconciliation practices that do not align with established requirements.
• Partner with reconciliation preparers, reviewers, and business line management to communicate findings, validate root causes, and drive timely resolution of identified issues.
• Provide challenge and oversight regarding aged items, unsupported balances, unresolved differences, and other reconciliation-related risks.
• Develop, monitor, and report on remediation plans to bring reconciliations into compliance with policy and enhance overall control effectiveness.
• Track outstanding exceptions, monitor progress against corrective action plans, and escalate
