Job summary

L&T Construction – Hydel and Tunnel BU seeks an Assistant Manager – Formwork for dam and allied concrete structures in Hydro Power Projects. The role involves planning, execution, and control of formwork works for mass and reinforced concrete structures, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, safety norms, and project schedules.

You will coordinate with construction, QA/QC, planning and safety teams; ensure proper erection, alignment, stability, and stripping of formwork;

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or BTech in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in planning, execution and control of formwork for dam and hydro structures.
• Fluent reading of GFC drawings, BBS and construction methods.
• Knowledge of IS codes, QA/QC and EHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of formwork activities for dam and hydro structures.
• Ensure proper erection, alignment, stability, and stripping of formwork.
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, planning and safety teams.
• Prepare formwork quantities, shuttering area calculations, and measurements.
• Monitor formwork cycle time, productivity, and material reutilization.
