Job summary

Adani Group is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 2–4 years of F&A experience to lead budgeting, financial statements, and audit processes. The role demands strong analytical skills and the ability to drive financial discipline across Opex/Capex, MIS, and statutory compliance.

You will oversee balance sheet preparation, audits, and cash flow management, while coaching the team and adopting modern finance technologies to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• CA mandatory.
• 2–4 years of F&A experience in a large setup.
• Experience in balance sheet preparation and statutory audits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual Opex and Capex budgets from preparation to approval.
• Monitor monthly/quarterly/annual revenue and profit performance; identify gaps.
• Support CAPEX evaluation for the business.
• Ensure monthly MIS preparation and coordinate review by the business.
• Prepare financial statements and review them.
• Analyze expenses and receivables; suggest corrective actions.
• Manage cash flow and short-term investments.
• Ensure statutory audits are completed and implement audit observations.
• Ensure statutory compliances; handle service tax and EPCG redemption.
• Motivate and coach the team; communicate effectively.
• Stay updated with finance developments and adopt modern technology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual Opex, Capex Budgets Preparation, finalization, approval and periodic reviews.
• Monitor and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual revenue & profit performance, identify gaps & suggest corrective actions to management.
• Support to biz. for evaluation of CAPEX decision.
• Ensure monthly MIS preparation & co-ordinate review by biz.
• Ensure Preparation of Financial statements & review of the same.
• Analysis of expenses/receivable and suggest corrective measures.
• Cash Flow Management & short-term investment decisions
• Ensure compliance to internal audit observations & strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure completion of statutory audits as per schedule and take actions on audit observations.
• Ensure statutory compliances i.e. Service Tax, EPCG redemption.
• Motivate the team through employee communication and coaching.
• Keep abreast with the latest developments in the field of Finance and embrace the modern technology in line with the requirements of the Department.
