Job summary

Qualifications

• CA qualified with experience in manufacturing/automotive sectors.
• Experience in Finance & Accounts in a manufacturing/automotive setup.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per IND-AS/IFRS.
• Drive annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting with business units.
• Monitor budget vs actuals, analyse variances, and present reports to management.
• Coordinate with auditors (Big 4 - statutory, internal, tax) for timely audits and issue resolution.
• Manage finance modules in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally) and support automation initiatives.

Position: Asst. Manager Finance & Accounts (F&A)

Location: Chennai

Department: Finance
Industry: Automotive / Manufacturing
Experience: 1 to 4 years

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting

• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per IND-AS/IFRS.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process in collaboration with business units.
• Monitor budget vs actuals, analyze variances, and present reports to management.
• Actively tracking Capex projects budget vs actuals

3. MIS & Business Analytics

• Generate timely and accurate MIS reports for management review.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions, capital investments, and cost optimization.
• Customs cost savings including PnL Savings & cash flow savings
• Statutory compliance requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act.

3. Audit & ERP

• Manage finance modules in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally, etc.).
• Support automation initiatives and improve internal financial processes.
• Coordinate with auditors (Big 4 - Statutory, Internal, Tax) for timely audit completion and issue resolution.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Qualified
• Finance & Accounts in a manufacturing/automotive setup
• Industry Preference: Automotive, Engineering, or any Manufacturing Industry
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, and financial regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and financial modelling
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Attributes:

• Exposure to cost control, plant accounting, and CAPEX management
• Hands-on experience in ERP implementation or system upgrades
