Job summary

Dauch Corporation in Pune, India, is seeking an Assistant Manager – Exim and Transport Management to oversee end-to-end import/export processes, document compliance, and freight cost optimization.

You will liaise with CHA and authorities, negotiate with shipping lines and logistics providers, and maintain records while driving continuous improvement across the logistics function.

The role requires 10–13 years in supply chain/procurement and fluency in English and local language.

Qualifications

• Supply chain / Material Procurement experience 10~13 years.
• Experience in Automotive MNC is preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001.
• Proficient in English and Local language.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end import/export processes, including booking containers and tracking shipments.
• Prepare, verify and process Bills of Entry, Packing Lists, Invoices and Certificates of Origin.
• Liaise with CHA and authorities to resolve clearance issues and expedite cargo movement.
• Negotiate freight rates, contracts and SLAs with shipping lines and logistics providers.
• Maintain records, analyze inventory levels and prepare logistics performance reports.
• Manage logistics department processes from ordering to dispatch and invoicing.
• Lead cost optimization initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Interface with Regional and Global Logistics teams to align with organizational objectives.
