Job summary

JioStar is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive revenue targets for advertisers in the Entertainment category. You will be part of a frontline team, building strong relationships with advertisers and agencies, and delivering customized solutions across JioStar's TV platforms.

You will own key accounts, expand the client base, stay updated on India's TV ecosystem, and work with cross-functional revenue teams to execute deals and case studies, maintaining a healthy pipeline and high sales

Role & responsibilities

This role focuses on achieving revenue and growth targets for advertisers in the assigned category. As an Assistant Manager you will be part a team of front liners, while building strong relationships with advertisers and agencies, and delivers customized solutions across JioStar extensive TV platforms. The role also expands JioStar client base and strengthens its position as the go-to partner for innovative advertising solutions.

• This is an individual contributor role where you will own the revenue targets for key accounts within the Entertainment Business in a specific industry . The focus will be on maximizing revenue potential and positioning JioStar.
• You will be Jiostars ambassador in the market for the accounts you own.
• You will be expected to understand Indias TV ecosystem, stay abreast with industry trends and innovations along with establishing and demonstrating an understanding of JioStars ad solutions and capabilities
• You will be expected to maintain a healthy sales pipeline on a regular basis; be proactive in highlighting any roadblocks and maintain high standards in sales processes
• You will be expected to manage all stakeholder relationships end to end with minimum supervision
• You will also be focusing on deeper client interactions to drive case studies, client interviews, executing joint business plans & maintaining monthly run rates etc.
• You will work closely with the cross functional ads revenue team for the conceptualization & execution of all deals for your accounts

Preferred candidate profile

• Understanding Key account management principles/consultative selling Should be both a category & a brand builder with a strong ability to drive and achieve sales targets. Excellent interpersonal &communication skills. Comfort to use data and analytics while building on client conversations at deal level. Ability to leverage relationships, build a strong network, and have effective negotiations, and utilizing these to drive new business. Persistence to drive sales from exploration to deal closures.
• Preferably Bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years in a fast-paced industry; with solid understanding of TV landscape.
