Technical is seeking a seasoned electrical engineer to lead BoP design, energy yield assessment, and grid-connection planning for large-scale solar projects.
The role covers design reviews, technical due diligence for M&A, and coordination with EPCs and consultants to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
Accountabilities | Major Activities
| Solar Energy Yield Assessment, BoP Design / Engineering & Technical Due Diligence of Renewables – Greenfield & M&A projects | Key accountabilities but not limited to- In depth understanding of various standards and regulations for Design & Engineering perspective for Solar AC-DC System Design & Energy Yield Assessment In depth understanding of Electrical design and Engineering concept of large-scale grid connected Solar power plant Green field Project: Hands on Experience and Expertise on PVSyst, Energy Estimation & Optimization using software Hands on Experience and Expertise on Solar AC-DC BoP System Design, Equipment’s selection and optimization Hands on experience to prepare and analyze Solar Power plant AC, DC Layout, SLD, DC-AC schematic, cable sizing, cable schedule and loss calculations, Earthing design etc. Prepare BoP equipment’s specifications/RFP document, discussion, and finalization with OEM/EPC Review QA / QC document, Factory inspection of critical equipment, acceptance tests & support during Site commissioning Prepare scope of work, support during appointment of Consultant / OE, co-ordinate, review, BoP comparison, optimization, observations and suggest mitigation measures. Document management Solar PV Module Selection, BOM finalization, support during manufacturing of Solar Module, in-process inspection and testing Merger & Acquisition Projects Hands-on experience to analyze and review solar PV plant performance, Electrical design review and engineering during M&A projects. Hands on experience in M&A transactions specific to Technical due diligence covering design review, IS/IEC/CEA compliance and validation, site visit, highlight the key issues / engineering risks / design deficiencies, and handover for Merger and Acquisition of large-scale solar project and co-ordination with consultants, seller & Stack holders.
Technical Innovation & Developing Solutions Provide support in conceptualizing & integrating a solution as needed by Apraava Energy assets for improving reliability of equipment & statutory compliance. Provide support in exploring facilitation of Creative Engineering space for New Solutions Facilitate sharing of new developments in Technology with the wider audience.

Functional Skills:
Technical Understanding of the Power Generating / Transforming / Controlling Equipment, Design & Engineering perspective, Exploring Product trends for opportune application In-depth understanding of Design & Engineering aspects Solar AC-DC System & Balance of Plant system Proficient in SolarGIS, PVSyst, AutoCAD, PVCase Software, Sketchup Understanding of application of various standards and regulations for Design & Engineering perspective Ability to prepare & review design Analytical skills
Relevant and total years of Experience:
Overall experience:6 years Specific experience in: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in large scale ground mounted gird connected Solar Projects specific to Solar Energy assessment using Pvsyst software, Solar AC-DC Balance of Plant system design and Engineering experience using AutCAD, PVCase Experience on Solar BESS, Floating Solar would added advantage Consultancy in Engineering background would be preferred
