Job summary

Hyatt Regency Chennai is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the Engineering Department in line with Hyatt International's strategies and standards. You will ensure efficient, economical operations and support all other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires overseeing maintenance programs, managing equipment and facilities, and maintaining the built environment to the highest standards on site at the hotel in Chennai.

Qualifications

• Ideally the candidate should have a degree or diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management.
• Knowledge in preventive maintenance programme and special projects will be valuable.
• Technical knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration systems, fire main systems, sprinklers, water/waste treatment or hydraulics will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient running of the Engineering Department in line with Hyatt International's strategies and brand standards.
• Assist in ensuring efficient and economical operation and provide services to the entire operation.
• Maintain equipment, building and grounds in optimum condition and support other operating departments.
