Job summary

Adani is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to execute and oversee electrical systems for thermal power projects in India. You will lead installation, commissioning, and testing across GT/UAT/SAT, GIS/AIS, and high-voltage infrastructure.

The role requires reviewing drawings, specifications, and BOQs, coordinating with EPCs and vendors, and ensuring HSE and regulatory compliance throughout project execution. Based in a major power zone, remote work is not indicated.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical systems for large industrial projects.
• Knowledge of HT/LT switchgear, GIS/AIS, and switchyards.
• Understanding of design reviews, BOQs, and engineering docs.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical systems installation and commissioning activities for thermal power projects.
• Monitor progress to ensure schedules, quality, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and engineering documents.
• Manage design reviews and installation of GT, UAT, SAT, switchgear, GIS/AIS, bus ducts.
• Supervise erection, testing, and commissioning; coordinate with suppliers for troubleshooting.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to HSE standards.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance with relevant standards and codes.
