Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Electrical Design & Planning professional to design electrical systems for offices, retail, industrial, and mixed-use buildings. You will create schematics, load calculations, and power distribution layouts while ensuring compliance with local codes and standards.

You will coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and construction teams, review submittals, conduct site inspections, and help integrate fire, security, and energy

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for commercial buildings (offices, retail, industrial, mixed-use)
• Create electrical schematics, load calculations, and power distribution layouts
• Specify electrical equipment, fixtures, and components
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and construction teams during project delivery
• Review contractor submittals and shop drawings
• Conduct site inspections during construction phases
• Plan lighting systems and controls for energy efficiency
• Design backup power systems (generators, UPS)
• Integrate fire alarm, security, and communication systems
• Plan EV charging infrastructure for parking areas
• Ensure adherence to NEC and local codes during design and implementation
• Plan energy management solutions and potential LEED/sustainability certifications
