Job summary

Adani is seeking an experienced EHS professional to foster a strong safety culture at its solar manufacturing site in Mundra, Gujarat. You will lead SMS enhancement, inspections, incident investigations, and training programs to protect people and the environment.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, identifying environmental aspects, and driving continuous safety improvements with lessons learned from audits and incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years in construction or industrial safety management.

Safety Management System Enhancement

• Improve and enhance the Safety Management System (SMS) at the project area, ensuring it effectively identifies, assesses, and mitigates safety risks.

EHS Inspection and Audit

• Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Aspects and Impacts Identification

• Identify environmental aspects and impacts of operations within the project area, developing strategies to minimize environmental risks and enhance sustainability.

Compliance Assurance

• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, industry standards, and internal guidelines related to occupational health, safety, and environmental practices.

Incident Investigation and Reporting

• Lead investigations into safety incidents and near misses, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Training and Development:

• Develop and deliver training programs on safety procedures, hazard identification, emergency response, and environmental protection measures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety performance, implementing best practices and lessons learned from incidents and audits.
