Job summary

Harsco Rail is seeking an experienced EHS professional to drive safety and health initiatives across office and site operations in India. You will implement the EHS management framework, monitor performance, and guide policy in consultation with management.

The role requires a BE or science degree, a 1-year Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety, NEBOSH IGC, and knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 4500. You will lead trainings, inspections, audits and incident investigations to ensure legal

• Bachelor of Engineering preferred; a 3-year Science degree may be considered.
• Full-time 1-year Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety from Govt. recognized institute.
• NEBOSH IGC certification.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 & 4500.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate establishment of Safety and Health requirements for office and site operations.
• Ensure implementation of EHS management system and global framework guidelines.
• Ensure safety goals of the organization are met.
• Guide HSE policy and standards in consultation with management.
• Monitor and report EHS performance.
• Develop and support HSE improvement strategies.
• Provide professional support and expert advice in relevant areas.
• Conduct EHS education, training, and support programs.
• Conduct EHS inspections/audit and report to Management.
• Identify and report potential HSE difficulties to management.
• Maintain EHS information resources and produce statistics.
• EHS performance reporting – internal and external.
• Ensure incident reporting and investigation of incidents.
• Monitor compliance with EHS legal requirements and advise management.
• Advise on changes to legislation and external standards.
• Organize EHS promotional activities to promote EHS culture.

Job Description

Qualifications
