Job summary

Institut Straumann AG in Mumbai seeks an experienced Prosthodontist to spearhead digital restoration trainings for dental labs, clinics and inhouse labs, covering laboratory scanners, CAD/CAM design, milling, printing, sintering and guided surgery.

You will develop and deliver training programs, train the trainers, and act as the first level of support for Straumann India’s digital customers, traveling across India (>60%).

Qualifications

• Prosthodontist with knowledge of software, digital dental workflows at dental laboratories and dental clinics.
• Extensive experience in conducting training, preferably in dental environment.
• Capable of working at a high level of independence across organizations and at various levels.

Responsibilities

• Training and educating the doctors and Lab technicians for Digital dental software and digital products of Straumann group.
• Act as the first level of support for Straumann India’s digital customers of Scanners, 3D Printers, Milling & grinding equipment, CARES visual software and coDiagnostiX.
• Lead the launch of future Straumann Group digital products.
• Lead the training and education for Digital portfolio.
• Help doctors and Lab Technicians to perform guided implant surgery under Smile in a Box (SiaB) concept.
• Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business for the organization’s products and services.
• Analyze the territory potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers' value to the organization, creating and managing a customer value plan.

Position Summary

Dental laboratories, dental clinics and clinic Inhouse laboratories are increasingly utilizing digital workflows in their daily prosthetic works, resulting in an increasing need for solid knowledge of these workflows both at customers as well as in the Straumann Group’s organizations. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping the doctors for Digital Restorations

This position will focus on conducting trainings and education courses for lab technicians and doctors. This role will cover parts of the following portfolio depending on the candidates abilities: laboratory scanners,CAD& CAM design for laboratories and chairside applications,millingand printing applications, sintering, guided surgery, intra oral scanners.In this role you will help to develop together with APAC T&E Training Center Manager training programs, gathers and prepares training contents and conducts training, typically in a train-the-trainer setup and conducts training for customers.

• Helping doctors and Lab Technicians to perform guided implant surgery under Smile in a Box (SiaB) concept.

Critical to the success of this role is also being a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, being highly organized and having excellent communication and presentation skills.

Principle Tasks

• Deliver Digital and Prosthetic training courses according to the corporate T&E agenda to both internal and external customers
• Develop a high level of skill in the planning, use and design ofImplant Prosthetics, further processing of screw retained bars and bridges and tooth retained crowns and bridges.

• Liaise with Straumann Implant & Prostheticskey opinion leadersand conduct special trainings

• Provide step-by-step guidelines for products and solutions
• Be a content provider for Straumann India and Straumann India’s customer’s

Knowledge Transfer

• Liaise with Global Trainer team, GlobalProduct ManagementTeam to gain a high-level understanding on the technical and clinical aspects of digital solutions
• Disseminate appropriate knowledge to Straumann India, Distributors, Associates andKey Opinion Leadersso that we can build our reputation as experts in Digital technologies and their application to aesthetic restorations.
• Work withGlobalProduct Management,Digital Marketingteam to broaden Straumann India’s Product Managements understanding of Straumann and competitors applications.

Requirements:To be successful in the role you will

• Prostodontist with fundamental and advanced knowledge in implant and tooth-borne prosthetics and able to demonstrate a high level of Digital and Analog skills
• Critical to the success of this role is also being a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, being highly organized and having excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Be enthusiastic about training & education and have a strong desire to help others improve their skills. Show flexibility to adapt to diverse training environments
• Multiple years of experience withCAD softwareand digital workflows
• Be aware of needs of participants who have different backgrounds and skills
• Have outstanding learning and communication skills; both verbal and written
• Must be able to communicate inHindiand English fluently. Knowledge of any other Indian language is a strong asset
• Be committed to delivering exceptional customer service
• Display a positive attitude, dedication and enthusiasm

• be able to work independentlyand to travel extensively (>60%) across India
