Job summary

Tube Investments of India Limited (TII) in Coimbatore invites experienced engineers for Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Engineering. 5–10 years in gearbox/gear design, new product development, and wind turbine exposure are preferred.

Role requires B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech and hands-on CAD experience (SolidWorks). You will design planetary gearboxes, perform critical calculations, and ensure conformance to ISO/AGMA/DIN standards.

Qualifications

• Design and development of Planetary Gearboxes, Main Gearbox, Pitch & Yaw Drives.
• Perform gear/gearbox calculations for strength, durability, life, efficiency and noise.
• Knowledge of ISO, AGMA & DIN standards, duty cycles, load spectrum and Rain flow Count.
• Hands-on experience in 3D modelling, 2D drawings, prototype development and validation testing.
• Expertise in CAD tools(Solid Works or others)
• Exposure to performance, endurance, HALT, noise & vibration testing.
• Knowledge of APQP/PPAP and product industrialization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop planetary gearboxes and wind-turbine gear systems.
• Carry out strength, life, durability, and efficiency calculations.
• Adhere to ISO/AGMA/DIN standards and load spectrum methodologies.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings; develop prototypes and validate tests.
• Apply APQP/PPAP processes for product industrialization.
• Evaluate performance and conduct HALT/noise/vibration testing.
