Job summary

Fidelity International in Gurgaon, India, is seeking an Assistant Manager (Cost CoE) to lead end-to-end cost accruals, analysis and reporting. You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis and balance sheet close, while partnering with the Cost Head and senior stakeholders to drive efficiency and transparency.

You will develop specialist knowledge in cost areas, deliver regular and ad-hoc analyses, support budget vs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting, Reporting and Reconciliations.
• Experience in Data Analytics, Controllership and Business Finance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and financial interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end cost accrual & analysis with flash reporting.
• Execute month-end accounting functions: journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis.
• Create monthly and ad-hoc cost analyses from Controlling and Business Finance perspectives.
• Support month-end process by investigating variances with budget/forecast and propose actions.
• Understand stakeholder requests and provide feasible solutions.
• Lead monthly balance sheet reconciliations and overall month-end close.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders as SME for Cost area within GCH.
• Participate in company-wide projects related to Cost area.
• Maintain risk awareness and a strong control environment.

They focus on increasing cost transparency, identifying optimisation opportunities whilst leveraging technology and data strategy to drive simplification. **About your role** Playing a vital role in driving cost efficiency, you’ll partner with the Cost Head and other GCH colleagues to shine a light on your Cost area, continuously questioning and finding ways to simplify, optimise and increase transparency.
