Job summary

RNTBCI PL in Chennai is seeking an Assistant Manager for Buying, Operations & Planning (BOP) to help manage supplier panels, support NDA/RFQ processes, and assist in VT approvals during design phases. You will coordinate with LSPM/Buyer teams, ensure timely PO releases, and contribute to achieving QCDDM targets.

The role focuses on developing supplier strategies, evaluating performance, and driving continuous improvement within Renault-Nissan KPIs. This is a full-time position based in Chennai.

Responsibilities

• Commodity Strategy & Panel Management: Help manage a competitive supplier base for BOP & Non-BOP commodities.
• Sourcing Management & Supplier Performance: Support NDA, RFQ, quote, and NRC processes per Nissan guidelines.
• Product Development Support: Support supplier inputs during design phases and assist in VT approvals.
• QCDDM & Supplier Performance Management: Support negotiations with suppliers to meet QCDDM targets and track performance.
• People & Team Management: Assist LSPM and Buyer teams in executing sourcing plans and align with Renault-Nissan KPIs.
• Employee Development & Engagement: Assist in workforce planning and identify training needs.
