Job summary

Beerana Consultancy seeks an experienced operations manager to oversee fertilizer bagging, packing, loading, and dispatch in a manufacturing plant.

The ideal candidate holds a B.Tech in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years in fertilizer manufacturing, and strong skills in supervision, safety, quality, and SAP/ERP systems. You will coordinate with production, maintenance and lab teams to ensure efficient, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 8 years in fertilizer manufacturing.
• Industry: Fertilizer manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Bagging operations: supervise fertilizer packing and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Loading & dispatch: manage bag loading into trucks and wagons.
• Manpower management: allocate work and manage shifts.
• Quality control: ensure bags meet quality and weight standards.
• Machine maintenance: coordinate with maintenance for bagging equipment.
• Production coordination: work with DAP production and lab teams.
• Safety management: enforce safety rules and company procedures.
• Cost control: minimise wastage of packing materials and energy.
• Documentation: maintain records and adhere to standards.
