Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai Fort seeks an experienced Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance to support the accounting team with investment accounting, taxation, and maintenance of financial records.

The role reports to the GM Accounts and demands accuracy and integrity. The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting with IPCC certification and a minimum of 7 years’ experience in accounts, finance and taxation, plus proficiency in Tally and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting software eg Tally and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Record maintenance and investment accounting with proper documentation.
• Process sales and purchase, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank, vendors and customer ledgers, including GST/TDS credits.
• Prepare balance sheets, P&L, and MIS reports; fixed assets and prepaid schedules as per regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide required information and support compliance with tax laws (GST, TDS, direct tax) and reporting.

Job Title: Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance

Location: Fort, Mumbai

Reports To: GM Accounts

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Required: Minimum 7 years in Accounting & Finance

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant with understanding of investments & taxation. Accountant is responsible for assisting the accounting team with various accounting tasks, including the preparation, maintenance, and review of financial records.

Key Responsibilities:-

Record Maintenance:

• Maintaining proper books of accounts
• Investment accounting along with its proper documentation
• Payroll checking and its tax working

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Process sales and purchase, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Ensure payables and receivables are functioning as per the set protocols and identify

the improvement areas.

Reconciliation:

• Bank, Vendors and customers ledger reconciliation.
• GST credit and TDS credit reconciliation

Financial and other Reporting:

• Balance sheets and profit/loss accounts as per Indian Accounting Standards
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual cash and income MIS
• Fixed assets schedule as per companies act and income tax
• Prepaid schedule

Auditing:

• Coordination with internal and external auditors to provide requirements

Compliance:

• Tax compliances including direct tax, TDS, TCS, GST and RERA
• Compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• IPCC Certification
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounts, finance and taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting software eg Tally and Microsoft Office.
