Job summary

Pharma Access Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to lead the concept, basic, and detail design of HVAC systems for pharmaceutical facilities. The role requires expertise in cGMP, ISPE, GSP, GLP, ISO guidelines and strong AutoCAD/MS Project skills.

Responsibilities include heat load calculations, tender specification review, BOQ coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure quality and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed college.
• Total professional experience of 6–12 years in HVAC design for pharma projects.
• Familiar with cGMP, ISPE, GSP, GLP, ISO and related guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems (Concept/Basic/Detail) for pharma facilities.
• Prepare Heat Load Calculations and conduct technical & commercial comparisons.
• Create ducting layouts with sizing of ducts and air terminals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for design (Concept / Basic / Detail) of the HVAC system
• Preparation of Heat Load Calculation, Technical & Commercial comparison
• Ducting layouts with duct sizing & air terminal sizing
• Participation in Tender specification & BOQ
• Good understanding & experience in pharmaceutical HVAC designing including selection / sizing of special terminal devices such as HEPA boxes & Risers.
• Conversant with HVAC design for pharmaceutical facilities such as OSD, OLD, OCL, sterile in compliance with various guidelines like cGMP, WHO, ISPE, ASHRAE, and other engineering guide-lines etc
• Responsible for reviewing and approval for design specification prepared by design engineers and ensures the quality of work done
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project team functions to assist in managing engineering execution and project management deliverable
• Identification of new vendors, consultants etc. to fulfil the project specifications time to time

Required Skills And Experience

Education

B.E / B. Tech – Mechanical from Government Engineering College / Regional Engineering College (REC) / any other Engineering College of repute.

Experience

Min 06-12 years of total professional experience in designing of HVAC System for pharmaceutical projects either with a pharmaceutical company’s technical organization or with an engineer-ing/consulting company.

Functional Competencies

• Should be aware with execution of HVAC systems and drawings
• Knowledge of cGMP, ISPE, GSP, GLP, ISO etc.
