Job summary

Tech Mahindra seeks a BIM Lead to oversee the digital representation of places, coordinate multi-discipline models, and drive the implementation of BIM standards across projects. You will lead BEP development, model federations, and clash detection while mentoring BIM coordinators and engineers.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in AEC and BIM coordination, mastery of Revit/Navisworks/Solibri, and strong communication and project management skills to ensure accurate, deliverable information models

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or Construction Management would be an advantage.
• 5+ years of hands-on AEC and BIM coordination experience.
• Deep expertise in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Solibri, and Dynamo.
• Strong communication, project management, and knowledge of building codes.

Responsible for overseeing the digital representation of physical and functional characteristics of places, which significantly enhances the building lifecycle through improved communication, collaboration, and automation. The main duties include managing the digital representation of physical and functional characteristics of places, ensuring the customer teams have access to accurate, timely, and pertinent data to make informed decisions, and reducing the risk of errors and reworks.

The role involves implementing BIM protocols and systems on new projects, coordinating project model deliveries, leading BIM coordination meetings, auditing work done by the team/vendor to meet customer accuracy expectations etc to facilitate seamless workflow integration.

Typically performs a range of tasks including developing and implementing BIM protocols and systems on new projects, coordinating project model deliveries, reviewing models to ensure accuracy and compliance, leading BIM coordination meetings, creating training materials, and liaising with project managers, engineers, and architects to facilitate seamless workflow integration.

The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of BIM methodologies, excellent team management skills, and a strong ability to implement BIM technology across a range of projects.
