Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a finance professional to oversee financial control and reporting, ensuring monthly, quarterly and annual closings are accurate and timely. You will implement and maintain strong internal controls, and prepare Management MIS reports.

Responsibilities also include budgeting and forecasting, taxation and regulatory duties, banking and treasury management, and coordinating audits to resolve queries and ensure GST, TDS and income tax compliance.

• Financial Control & Reporting: monthly, quarterly and annual closings, accuracy and timeliness.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: assist in annual budgets and forecasts, variance analysis with explanations.
• Taxation & Regulatory: oversee tax planning, assessment and advance tax payments.
• Banking & Treasury: manage cash flow planning, working capital optimization, bank reports and FX exposure management.
• Audit & Compliance: coordinate with auditors, prepare schedules, resolve audit queries and ensure GST/TDS/income tax compliance.

Job description

• Financial Control & Reporting: Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Ensure compliance with IGAAP, IND-AS. Implement and maintain strong internal controls, and risk management frameworks. Prepare Management MIS reports.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget vs actual performance and provide variance analysis with explanations and provide analytical insights for corrective and timely action.
• Taxation & Regulatory: Oversee tax planning, assessment and litigation management. Preparation of advance tax calculations and ensure timely advance tax payments.
• Banking & Treasury: Manage cash flow planning, optimum utilization of funds, Optimize working capital. Interact with banks regularly for routine operations and documentation. Ensure timely submission of bank related reports for working capital facilities. Generate BRC (Bank Realization Certificates), EDPMS Queries Support in supervising cash flow and foreign exchange exposure management.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax auditors and cost auditors. Support and prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
