Sarthee Consultancy in India seeks a seasoned Finance Controller to lead financial closures and ensure accuracy and timeliness under IGAAP/IND-AS. The role focuses on strengthening internal controls and delivering reliable management reporting.

You will manage budgeting, taxation, treasury operations, and regulatory compliance, coordinating with auditors and finance teams to drive actionable insights and robust financial governance across the organization.

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures with IGAAP/IND-AS compliance.
• Assist in annual budgeting and forecasts with variance analysis and analytical insights.
• Lead taxation planning, assessment, and advance tax payments and compliance.
• Manage cash flow, working capital optimization, and regular bank interactions and reporting.

Job description

• Financial Control & Reporting: Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Ensure compliance with IGAAP, IND-AS. Implement and maintain strong internal controls, and risk management frameworks. Prepare Management MIS reports.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget vs actual performance and provide variance analysis with explanations and provide analytical insights for corrective and timely action.
• Taxation & Regulatory: Oversee tax planning, assessment and litigation management. Preparation of advance tax calculations and ensure timely advance tax payments.
• Banking & Treasury: Manage cash flow planning, optimum utilization of funds, Optimize working capital. Interact with banks regularly for routine operations and documentation. Ensure timely submission of bank related reports for working capital facilities. Generate BRC (Bank Realization Certificates), EDPMS Queries Support in supervising cash flow and foreign exchange exposure management.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax auditors and cost auditors. Support and prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation. Ensure timely resolution of audit queries and closure of audit observations. Support compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, income tax, and other
