Job summary

The Standard, Mexico City is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to ensure the efficient running of the housekeeping department in line with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards. You will manage all functions related to cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house areas, as well as laundry and dry‑cleaning operations.

Ideal candidates hold a degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management with 2–4 years of relevant supervisory experience,

Qualifications

• Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Housekeeping Manager, or 4 years as Assistant Housekeeping Manager in larger operation.
• Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient running of the housekeeping department in line with Hyatt's corporate strategies and brand standards.
• Oversee cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house non-kitchen areas.
• Manage laundry and dry-cleaning operation including hotel linen and uniforms.

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible to manage all functions related to the cleanliness of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house non-kitchen areas, as well as the laundry and dry-cleaning operation (hotel linen, uniforms and guest laundry).

Qualifications
