Job summary

Utilities One Group, based in India, Gurugram, seeks an Assistant Estimator to assist with cost estimates and proposals for EV charging and electrical infrastructure projects. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and coordinating with cross-functional and U.S.-based teams to ensure accurate proposals.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:30 PM–1:30 AM IST with no hybrid or WFH options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is mandatory.
• 2+ years of experience in estimating, proposal preparation, electrical construction, or related fields.
• Experience in the U.S. market is required.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with EV charging, renewable energy, utility coordination, or permitting processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare project cost estimates and develop detailed proposals for EV charging installations, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
• Prepare electrical one-line diagrams and RFPs for projects
• Calculate and apply financial incentives and financing proposals in accordance with program requirements.
• Create and manage professional proposals ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
• Manage multiple RFPs and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Communicate and coordinate with cross-functional and U.S.-based teams to ensure timely delivery of proposals and required information.
• Ensure all proposals comply with client requirements, technical standards, and internal quality guidelines.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Estimator to support the preparation of cost estimates and project proposals for EV charging and electrical infrastructure projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical understanding, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and U.S.-based teams to deliver accurate and high-quality proposals.

Work schedule: Monday - Friday from 5:30 PM till 1:30 AM IST (No Hybrid and No WFH)

Location: EMAAR Digital Green, Tower B, Golf Course Road Extension, Sector 61, Gurugram, Haryana - 122011.

Key Responsibilities

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (mandatory).
• 2+ years of experience in estimating, proposal preparation, electrical construction, infrastructure projects, or a related field.
• Experience in estimation, electrical construction, or infrastructure projects is required.
• Experience in the U.S. market is a MUST.
• Good understanding of electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, and RFP requirements.
• Familiarity with EV charging, renewable energy, utility coordination, or permitting processes is an advantage.
• Strong attention to details and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• English proficiency at C1 level or above
