Job summary

Egis Road Operation India is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Engineer - Electrical to join our Bengaluru team. You will support senior engineers in design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems across diverse projects.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, strong fundamentals in circuit analysis, and proficiency with MATLAB, SPICE and CAD tools. You will collaborate with mechanical, software and project teams to deliver integrated solutions

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.

About The Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Engineer - Electrical to join our engineering team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will support senior engineers in the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems and components. You will work on diverse projects while developing your technical expertise and contributing to the success of our organization.

• Assist senior engineers in designing and analyzing electrical circuits and systems using industry-standard software and tools
• Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and modeling to support project requirements and validate designs
• Conduct troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and systems
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and project records
• Participate in testing, validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions
• Organize and maintain project files, documentation, and technical data in a systematic manner
• Support the development and implementation of electrical solutions from concept through deployment

What do we need from you

• 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, power systems, electronics, or a related technical field
• Strong knowledge of circuit analysis, electrical theory, and design principles
• Proficiency with electrical design and simulation software such as MATLAB, SPICE, or equivalent tools
• Experience with CAD software for electrical design and schematic creation
• Solid understanding of industry standards and best practices in electrical engineering
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred experience in power systems, control systems, or industrial electronics
• Familiarity with testing equipment and measurement instruments
• Knowledge of safety standards and electrical codes relevant to the industry
