Job summary

IIM Indore is inviting applications for the post of Assistant Engineer (Audio Visual) on the rolls of a manpower agency. The role requires 3 to 5 years of AV experience, including AV over IP, LED/video walls, and conferencing systems.

The selected candidate will be deputed at IIM Indore on a fixed-term contract through a manpower agency. Salary will be consolidated, with annual performance reviews and no salary constraints for a deserving candidate.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in AV integration, site management, or troubleshooting in corporate, educational, or event environments.
• Experience in planning and execution of ELV works in a building construction project will be preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in high‑pressure situations.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and stakeholder management.
• Understanding of audio acoustics and video signal flow.

Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Engineer (AudioVisual) on the rolls of manpower agency

Job Title: Assistant Engineer (Audio Visual)

Experience

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in AV integration, site management, or troubleshooting in corporate, educational, or event environments etc.

The experience in planning and execution of ELV works in a building construction project will be preferred.

Technical Skills

Control Systems ,Video Conferencing: Experience setting up Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), Cisco Webex, and VoIP systems.

Audio/Video Hardware: Hands-on experience with LED video walls, projectors, professionalaudiosystems, microphones, and digital signal processors.

Networking: Knowledge of IP networking (LAN/WAN, VLANs, IP address management) for AV over IP systems.

Documentation: Proficiency in creating Bills of Materials (BOMs), system schematics.

Strong troubleshooting skills in high-pressure situations.

Excellent communication skills for client interaction and stakeholder management.

Understanding ofaudioacoustics and video signal flow.

Salary & Allowances

The selected candidate will be deputed in IIM Indore on a fixed-term contract through manpower agency on a consolidated monthly pay package subject to satisfactory performance, which will be reviewed on an annual basis. Salary will not be a constraint for the deserving candidate.
