Jobpurpose
The Assistant Director - Total Rewards willbe responsible for designing and managing compensation frameworks,performance management processes, incentive programs, long-term rewards,statutory compliance, and workforce analytics across global locations. Therole requires deep expertise in compensation strategy, labour regulations,pay transparency regulations, and executive reporting, coupled with stronganalytical and stakeholder management capabilities.
Keyresponsibilities
- Design, review, and govern global compensation structures,salary ranges, job architecture, pay positioning, and reward frameworks.
- Lead annual compensation review processes including meritincreases, promotions, market adjustments, and incentive planning.
- Drive compensation benchmarking through participation inglobal salary surveys and compensation databases.
- Evaluate pay competitiveness, compensation mix, internalequity, and market positioning across geographies.
Performance Management
- Own and govern the organization's performance managementframework.
- Manage annual and mid-year appraisal cycles, goal-settingprocesses, calibration exercises, and performance evaluations.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to ensure consistency,fairness, and effectiveness of performance outcomes.
- Drive continuous enhancements to the performance managementphilosophy and systems.
Incentive Design &Performance Rewards
- Design and implement incentive structures includingshort-term incentives, variable pay plans, sales incentives, LTIP
- Establish performance-linked reward mechanisms that driveemployee engagement and business outcomes
- Evaluate and optimize incentive effectiveness throughmarket insights and analyticsGlobal Rewards
Mobility and GlobalPrograms
- Design mobility solutions for global assignments, ensuringalignment with organizational objectives.
- Manage the implementation of global incentive plans andlong-term rewards programs.
Compliance &Governance
- Ensure compliance with applicable compensation and benefitsregulations across India, US, UK, Europe, China, and Sri Lanka.
- Monitor developments in global pay transparencyregulations, equal pay requirements, wage reporting obligations, andreward-related statutory requirements.
- Possess strong working knowledge of Indian labour laws,wage legislation, social security regulations, and evolving Labour Codes.
- Partner with Legal and external advisors to ensureregulatory compliance and mitigate reward-related risks.
Analytics, Reporting &Insights
- Develop executive dashboards and workforce analytics forsenior leadership and HR stakeholders.
- Analyze trends related to compensation, performance,attrition, diversity, pay equity, and rewards effectiveness.
- Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to supportstrategic workforce decisions.
- Prepare presentations and reports for Executive Committee,Board members, and senior management.
- Drive automation and digitization of rewards analytics andreporting.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience inTotal Rewards within Financial Services, Analytics, Technologyorganizations, Global Capability Centers (GCCs), or multinationalenvironments. Experience supporting multiple geographies and managingglobal compensation programs is highly preferred.
- Educational qualification: Master's degree in HR froma reputed institute
- Technical skills:
- Deep understanding of global compensationdesign and governance, alary structures and pay ranges, variable payand incentive programs, bonus design and administration, benefitsstrategy and governance, LTIPs and ESOP administration, pay equity andpay transparency principles, job evaluation and job architecture
- Strong knowledge of Indian Labour Codes andlabour legislation, wage and social security regulations, Statutorybenefits and compensation compliance, Global pay transparencyregulations, reward and compensation governance requirements acrossmajor international markets
- Excellent stakeholder management andinfluencing skills, ability to engage effectively with seniorexecutives and business leaders, excellent written and verbalcommunication skills
