Job summary

EY Bengaluru invites an experienced Assistant Director for Business Forecasting & Planning to drive strategic workforce and financial management across consulting service lines. The role partners with senior leaders to optimize capacity, mobility, hiring, budgeting, and performance reporting.

You will deliver MI reports, lead demand vs. supply analyses, and maintain robust dashboards for global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of relevant experience in operations, workforce planning, forecasting, finance support, or business management.
• Experience supporting consulting, professional services, or client-facing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver Management Information (MI) reports for assigned sectors/geographies.
• Lead capacity planning, resource fulfillment, and demand vs. supply analysis.
• Drive workforce planning, mobility planning, bench management, and hiring management.
• Partner with Finance, Talent, Procurement, and other enablement functions to support employee lifecycle processes.
• Monitor utilization, productivity, and operational metrics, providing actionable insights to leadership.
• Support budget planning, forecasting, reforecasting, and headcount reviews.
• Conduct cost analysis, P&L reviews, and investment analysis for business teams.
• Review hiring requests and support workforce decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with defined processes and maintain process documentation.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders across geographies.

The role will work closely with Service Line leadership and core operations teams to enable effective workforce planning, financial management, resource optimization, and business performance reporting.
