Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Limited in Mumbai seeks a senior Hydrology Engineer to lead hydrology and hydraulic design for major infrastructure projects, including stormwater drainage and bridges. You will guide a team of GETs/PGETs and coordinate with site teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in water resources or related field (PhD is a plus) with 4–5 years of relevant experience and strong proficiency in Civil Storm, SewerGEMS, HEC-RAS and HMS.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in water resources, environmental engineering or hydrology; PhD is a plus.
• 4–5 years of experience in infrastructure projects focusing on stormwater drainage and bridge hydrology; airport projects are a plus.
• Proficiency with design software such as Civil Storm, SewerGems, HEC-RAS and HMS.

Responsibilities

• Guide a team of PGETs / GETs on hydrology & hydraulic designs.
• Coordinate with site/ Construction team.
• Ability to understand, explain, present, and solve complex technical problems for technical & non-technical audience.
• Knowledge of industry standards, workflows, data formats and inter-operability techniques.
• Hydraulic design of Roads, Railway and city Infra projects using design software.
